I have a very bad hangover today. It was a night out to say farewell to a great crowd of people who I’ve worked with for 3 years. Head hurts now and I don’t feel like writing much.
It was a friend of mine who put one of their songs on a compilation tape back in the early 90s. I picked up this single for 99p somewhere. Discovered I liked the b-side better

Can anyone enlighten me about The Poppy Factory? All I can trace on the net is they released 3 singles on the Chrysalis label and then sunk without trace. Maybe the lack of chart success stopped an album being released. But as I say, I don’t know…

I won’t mention the match cos the bastard will probably track me down and sue me, but the referee I saw today was a cheat pure and simple (every time). I’m still fuming.
Bit ironic as I note the song I’m listening to as I write is “Tell the truth”.
