I’ve only one song by The Moth and The Mirror in the collection, and it comes courtesy of its inclusion on the compilation album Get Into The Grove : 10 Years of Olive Grove Records that was released in November 2020.

The six musicians who made up the band – Stacey Sievwright (lead vocals, guitar, and cello), Gordon Skene (vocals and guitar), Louis Abbott (guitar and vocals), Kevin McCarvel (bass), Iain Sandilands (percussion and piano) and Pete Murch (drums) were very much part of the burgeoning Glasgow indie-folk scene when they released their one and only double album, Honestly, This World, via Olive Grove in October 2011.
Bell Jar wasn’t included on the album, so I can only assume it was either left over from the sessions or perhaps was a track written later for a follow-up album that never happened.
