I’ve this CD in the collection, handed to me as I was leaving a gig at King Tut’s in Glasgow.
One in Four is a compilation album released by the mental health charity The Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) in 2004. It compiles 14 exclusive and previously unheard tracks recorded by artists who had previously been involved in events run by the charity.
More than 250,000 copies of the album were distributed to people in Scotland to raise awareness of mental health issues. It takes its name from the statistic that one in four people in Scotland will experience mental health problems at some point in their lives.
One of the bands on the CD is Multiples, who offered up this instrumental part guitar/part electronica offering:-

There’s not too much info out there, but on Discogs I read that the four members were David Roy, Graeme J.D. Ronald, James Hamilton and Stuart Memo, all of whom were involved with other bands kicking around the scene back in the early 00s such as Dananananaykroyd, Errors, Remember Remember and The Royal We.
There appears to have been two releases – two songs on a 10″ split single with The Kitchen in 20o4 and a two songs on a 7″ single of their own in 2005. The track included on the SAMH CD was later one of the tracks on that 2004 single.
