Moonsoup have been part of the DIY indie-scene in Glasgow for quite a number of years, initially as a three-piece back in 2018 with Niamh Baker on guitar and vocals, Melissa Brisbane on drums and Craig Ferrie on bass.
Over the years, there have been a few additions and departures, and at times Niamh has used the name when writing, recording and performing as a solo artist. I don’t know all that much about them, although I’m sure I did see them play live at least once in the pre-COVID era. According to their social media activities, they were still very much on the go, in terms of performing, in the summer of 2025.

The title might suggest otherwise, but this is a delightful piece of indie-pop. It was released back in 2019 as part of a five-song EP by the much missed Olive Grove Records.
