The third of the promised new series for 2026. It’s a bit of a cheat as it relies not on vinyl, CDs, cassettes or digital releases. Instead, it’s about trawling YouTube and similar types of sites and finding some rare(ish) footage from television performances to share with you. The posts will feature said TV performance as well as some sort of mp3 link.
The series is kicking off with a clip from The Other Side of Midnight, a weekly arts and music programme that was produced and broadcast by Granada Television for its viewers in the north-west of England. The show, which ran from February 1988–July 1989, was presented by none other than Anthony H Wilson.
