Well done. Lots of old favourites. And a few new ones.
While listening to Soulwax’s pretty good “NY Excuse”, I check the UK Singles Chart and am surprised. Wet Leg’s new song debuts at number 99? I had assumed “Catch these Fists” would reach the top ten, which now seems rather unlikely.
The last 30 seconds are confusing. Is that Boris Johnson reading from “Wind in the Willows”?
Hi sk
It’s taken from a compilation CD released a few years ago on the former ‘Song, By Toad’ label which was based in Edinburgh. It’s a sample of someone reading from The Wind In The Willows, from which the label was inspired to take its unusual name.
