January is a depressing month. Tired and skint after Christmas. Trying hard to get back into the swing of things at work. Dark mornings when you set off and even darker evenings when you come home. It’s cold, it’s wet or snowy. The joys of summer seem a long way off.

mp3 : The Thrills – Big Sur
Told you.
Not quite one listen and it feels like July….but it does make you realise the short days and long nights will soon be a thing of the past.
3 lovely lp’s – Been hoping for a reunion for ages
I remember liking these tunes when they came out but I have no recollection of what they sound like now.
I have always liked this album and assumed I would like their record collections as well… or maybe their parent’s old 45s. I seem to recall a split decision on these guys from our little corner of the world.
Ah, the Thrills. Definitely sunshine in a cd. Great live band too. Strange – I was at oran mor two nights ago and was telling the missus how brilliant the Thrills were there a few years ago. Yeah, their tunes always give you a feel good factor.
Drill, four bar intro, massive smile. Ta.
